How it works

The league will meet every Saturday at 6:00 PM, at Board Bard Games, starting on February 21st, and ending on March 28th.  

Each week players will play a game with a different configuration of Kingdom cards, competing for points against different players within the league, for a total of 6 games.

Play will be round-robin style, with each player playing every other player each night. Each night’s scores will be averaged, and those averages will added together to get an aggregate score. Prizes will be given at the end of the league. 

Maximum of 12 players.

League Fee

There will be a one-time $15 registration fee, which will go directly to prize support.

What is Dominion?

It’s a deck building game, but not a collectable one.

In Dominion, each player starts with an identical, very small deck of cards. In the center of the table is a selection of other cards the players can “buy” as they can afford them. Through their selection of cards to buy, and how they play their hands as they draw them, the players construct their deck on the fly, striving for the most efficient path to the precious victory points by game end.

Unlike many other deck building games where the market consists of random cards from a single deck, each game of Dominion consists of 10 different cards in the market from a wide selection of available options. This makes for varied gameplay and strategies depending on the cards used for each game.

Can I join the league mid-season?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of our scoring/aggregating system, we cannot add new players mid-season. But please keep an eye out for upcoming board game league information, we will be happy to put you on our list for the next one!

I can’t make it every week, what happens if I skip a league night?

Missed games cannot be made up, however, your lowest three nightly scores will be averaged and added to your aggregate score

What if the store has to cancel because of weather?

In the event that we have to be closed for weather, we will notify players as soon as we can via text and in the Discord channel. We will continue the following week (weather permitting), and just add a week on to the end of the league calendar.
